NASA research projects, what is right and what is not?
With the advances in technology during the last decade, it has been possible to develop tools that allow us to approach what was previously unknown to us; In this case the outer space; It is not a secret that for a long time everything related to space had been a great mystery, but now, with multiple methods we are getting closer and closer to solving all our unknowns.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, better known as NASA; It is the US government agency responsible for the civil space program, as well as aeronautical and aerospace research. This agency has developed a variety of interspatial projects in order to collect information and characteristics about different bodies, and in some cases even collect samples.
In my opinion, the use of technology in order to learn and resolve concerns is very beneficial, especially in a subject as extensive as science; It is also important to take into account the fact that by being able to better understand what is around us, we can at some point understand and even apply certain knowledge for our own benefit.
In particular, the "First steps on Mars" project, which seeks to broaden our knowledge of the red planet and send humans to take the first steps on this earth as their name says, seems to me an ambitious project, but one that can be very useful since The conditions on this planet are known to be the most similar to ours in the entire solar system, making it feasible that life may or may have occurred there. Information that is very useful to us taking into account the conditions to which we have subjected our own approach and a way to be able to solve this problem may be knowing a little more about the history of planets in our solar system. Although it is also important to keep in mind that the time necessary to carry out this entire project is a bit long, so sending a human crew would mean that they spend an important part of their lives outside their home planet, which would be a their very personal decision to sacrifice this time in favor of science.
In conclusion, I consider that the development of this type of projects can be very beneficial for humanity itself, since they allow us to expand our knowledge regardless of the distance barrier, and that although very few are those who have had the opportunity to Get out of the globe, we've all capitalized on your progress .
